Sunday June 28^th, 1998

First Air landed mid-day at the fiord, refueled, and took us back to Resolute and the “hotel”.  I had my $3 can of coke from the village store, and I think a $3 candy bar. There is nothing like caffeine and sugar when you’ve been without them for two weeks.  The main cost factor is that everything is flown 2000km to get here – everything is airfreight.

Sunday June 28th, 1998 First Air arrives in a Twin Otter, sans skis, to pick us up. Refuelling from the 55 gallon barrels requires running the right/starboard engine, so you want to stay away from that part :-) At the same time we are hauling our equipment to be loaded on.
