I didn’t sleep well last night for some reason, but slept well enough to do fine today. We moved camp five miles and camped on a high area that has turned out to be a bog/swamp that is full of mosquitoes. They are staying away from some folks, annoying others, and attacking me. The others are even joking about it.
We have not seen any wildlife, except for the snow hares that I saw. This is annoying Jack somewhat. He had really hoped to see some hoofed mammals I think. While it would be fun to see a polar bear, they are extremely rare this far inland and the idea of being in a tent around one of the three animals on the face of the earth that considers man food is not all that exciting (the other two being the saltwater croc and a one of the species of shark).
Tomorrow we are going to do a day kike up Rollrock. Friday is the hike to Tanquary Fiord to await pick-up.
